Privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is Urano. For any question about your data, call us on +359 892 999 777 or reply to an email you've received from us.

The viewing form on the Contact page and on the project pages:

• your name;
• your phone number and/or email;
• which projects, houses or cities you are interested in;
• how you would like us to contact you, and in which language;
• when suits you for a viewing, and your message if you write one.

The register-interest form for Vienna and Nicosia: name, email, phone (optional), preferred language, and whether you are looking for a home, an investment or both (optional).

With each form we also record the page it was sent from and the time it was sent, so we know which property you are asking about and when you gave consent.

Our server sees your IP address when you send a form. It is held briefly in the server’s working memory to stop automated spam, and is not stored with your enquiry.

We don’t ask for sensitive data. Please don’t include any in your message.

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a viewing. Legal basis: your consent, and steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
• To email you once when we publish the first plans for Vienna or Nicosia. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• To send you a short confirmation email, if you gave an email address. Legal basis: the same as for the enquiry.
• To protect the form from abuse by limiting the number of requests from one IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We don’t sell your data or pass it to other companies for their own marketing. We don’t make automated decisions about you or profile you.

We work with a few providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

• An email delivery provider (Resend), through which the form sends your enquiry to our team and the confirmation to you.
• The hosting provider whose servers run the site and the form.
• Cookieless analytics (Plausible Analytics), if enabled. It counts visits and events such as “form sent” without cookies and without identifying you. It never receives the form data.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer relies on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

The maps on the location and project pages load map images from OpenFreeMap. Your browser sends an ordinary request that includes your IP address, but no cookies are set. More on this under Cookies.

If you message us on WhatsApp or Viber, the conversation runs through that app, and its own privacy terms also apply.

• Viewing enquiries: while we are in conversation with you about a property, and for up to 2 years after our last contact if no contract follows. If we sign a contract, the data needed for it is kept for as long as the law requires.
• Interest in Vienna or Nicosia: until we have written to you about the city’s first plans. After that we delete it, unless you ask us to stay in touch.
• IP addresses used against spam: briefly, in the server’s working memory only. They are never written to our records.

If you withdraw consent, we delete your data sooner, unless the law requires us to keep it.

You have the right to:

• find out whether we process data about you, and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to erase your data;
• ask us to restrict how we process it;
• receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format, or ask us to pass it to another controller;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn’t affect the lawfulness of the processing before you withdrew it.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД): 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, 1592 Sofia, www.cpdp.bg. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can also contact the data protection authority in your own country.
